It's Been Awhile

Hey there friends! I am so sorry that it has been awhile since I have posted. Life has been insanely crazy lately. I have a lot of new content ideas that I want to add to my blog, so that is in the making right now. For now, I am going to share a little life update. Enjoy!


  1. At the end of September, I lost my best friend in my life. That hurt like heck and has been something that even now I am still healing from. It is a real thing that is taking a lot longer to get over than I thought it would take. 
  2. At the beginning of October, I started another round of Chemo for my Kidney disease and that lasted all month. 
  3. In the middle of October, I met an amazing man on an online dating site (YES, I did say that... That will be talked about more in another blog post.)
  4. At the beginning of November, I got hired at a Christian Preschool and have been working there since. Continually just doing my best there and loving the teacher life to young ones. 
  5. December flew by and was crazy busy with holidays, my brother's engagement, and then one of the most amazing things happened in my life... I finally got to be official with an amazing young man who continually points me to God! 
  6. The last couple days of December and the beginning of 2020, I got Kidney stones and ended up one day in Urgent Care and the next whole night in the ER. 
  7. Been working my butt off in my job, doing lots of school, and working a lot on my health. 
  8. Been getting to know some of my coworkers really well and it's been amazing having them welcome me into this new job journey for me. 
  9. Enjoying the dating life and having a boyfriend who loves and cares for me a lot. 
There are so many things that have been going on and these are just a few highlights. Life has been insane with my health and trying to balance everything else that is going on. God is amazing and I know that I can trust Him and know that He has a plan for everything that is going on. 

More posts will be coming soon! But for now, that is my little life update.

It's not Impossible

A few weeks ago I was supposed to find out my second treatment for my Kidney Disease that I have. After many Dr. appointments and continually waiting... I was starting to get really frustrated. Today, I started losing hope and I was getting really frustrated that I have been put on one of my treatments and not the other one that is supposed to work with the first treatment. I was getting down and discouraged for not having answers. Then I was continually reminded of a sermon that I listened to a month or two ago from one of my Pastor's. He was talking about how God only gives us the details that we need right now. If we knew everything that God had planned, then we would not want to go on this long journey... So we need to continually thank God for the details He has only provided for now.  As I was continuing through my day working and doing homework... I became really discouraged again. Broken

This song called, Broken is extremely encouraging and has been a huge encouragement to me. The lyrics are extremely powerful. Honestly this song is exactly how I feel currently. Literally I feel like I am barely holding on... But I keep reminding myself that God has a purpose for me even if I don't see it right now...  I just need to keep remembering that God has some sort of plan, even if I don't feel that way.
