When Obstacles Arise
Lately I have been struggling... I have been struggling with huge insecurities in my life, struggling with guilt, struggling with my worth... Struggling with pain and not having answers with my health. Struggling with finishing school. Struggling with people pleasing and so many other things. There are things that run through my mind constantly. To be honest, I am just exhausted! I am tired of school, dealing with constant health complications, dealing of peoples thoughts and feelings towards me, etc. To add onto that, my depression, anxiety, and the COVID situation does not help with any of this. Some days it just feels so hard to continue to push forward and do my best with things. I am constantly discouraged even when I am trying my best at whatever it is.
I am not sharing all of this for people to feel bad for me or anything. But I am sharing this for prayers, for encouragement, to vent, and to show that if you are going through things... You are not alone. It sucks when you see on social media everyone putting on a mask and pretending their lives are perfect. Mine is by far from perfect, and I do not mind sharing that. I want to be real and raw with you all. It is beyond frustrating to me when people are so fake on social media when they have other crap going on in their lives. It just makes you feel jealous that others have a life that seems perfect... I would encourage you to be open and honest with others... It makes them feel less alone and helps them know that they have someone else who they can confide in and everything.
I would like to encourage you all right now that no matter what God allows into your life, whether it is good or bad... He has a plan for it! He will bring you through it even if you feel like He will not.
Lately it has felt like God has been very distant to me. It feels like He does not care all that I am going through. I feel like He is allowing too much into my life at once and it feels like I am constantly going through a trial. But let me tell you, He does give us more than we can handle. I know you may have heard the opposite. However, that is not true, He gives us more than we can handle for sure. But He does that, so that He can be here for us. We do not have to do it alone. He wants us to go through more than we can handle alone so that we can run to Him and ask Him for help. He wants us to know that we cannot go through it alone. So during these times of hardships and trials, we need to cling to Him even more than we have before.
I will be honest, I struggle with this at times. There are times I feel like He does not care... But these are lies from the enemy. God just wants me to run to Him in times like these.
God is truly amazing! I am trying to learn more and more that I need Him more than ever right now. He will help me get through this, if I allow Him to help me. He does not want me to suffer alone and I need to remember that. And friend, I encourage you in the same way. During your times of hardship, run to Him! Cling to Him! Ask your friends for prayer and encouragement! You will get through this! I do not know when, but you will eventually get through this. And you have friends and God who will be there for you through it all.
Amen girl that’s right !!
