I miss the fling!!!

I miss so much about the fling!!! I wish that I could do it all over again tomorrow... But sadly I will have to wait until next summer. :( There are many things I miss about the fling, and here are some of them!!! Enjoy!!!

  1. My friends 
  2. Hugs... Oh how I love getting hugs. 
  3. My friends writing on me... (not naming any names.)
  4. Prayer (when I was nervous) from my awesome friends Aaron and Kirsten
  5. Driving down with our friends the Nunez family... And getting to talk with them on the way and way home.
  6. Dancing 
  7. Playing sports at dinner with my friends Aaron, Evan, David, and others.
  8. Encouragement from lovely friends
  9. Taking pictures with my awesome, weird, crazy, lovely, friends. 
  10. Late nights and early mornings
  11. My friends smiles every day
  12. Talking with my friends
  13. My brother and his friends playing What Makes You Beautiful on their instruments

I miss so much more from the fling!!! It makes me so sad knowing that it is over. I just wanted to say thank you to my friends Aaron and Kirsten for praying for me on Saturday when I was feeling nervous about playing in the recital. You guys are so awesome!!! Both of your prayers helped me a lot and made me feel less anxious as I performed. Also, thank you so much for being there for me as I walked outside after I performed. I will never forget... As I walked outside Aaron, you were right at the doorway ready to give me a hug. And then I turned and Kirsten, you were there right beside Aaron waiting to give me a hug. Both of your love, support, encouragement, and prayers helped me get through my anxiety. Aaron and Kirsten thank you guys again for everything you did for me. I will never forget your love, encouragement, prayers, and support. Love you guys!!!

I am so sad to see a lot of the GBT 4 kids not continuing GBT. It makes me so sad to the people that are leaving. Hopefully I will see those (who are leaving GBT) really soon. I will miss you all so bad!!! Just so you know you will never be forgotten. I love you all!!!

Also, I am so sad to see a few of my classmates leaving GBT!!! Just know that I would love to stay in touch with you all. And know that you will never be forgotten. Know that I am praying for you as you keep serving the Lord!!! I hope to see you guys really soon!!!

Thank you Mr. H so much for everything!!! I thank the Lord for you every day. You are such a great example to me and many others. I cannot wait to be in GBT 3 with you!!! I am so glad that the Lord put it on your heart to teach Great Books. It makes me so excited to know that I have a godly, humble, wise teacher. I hope you have a great summer!!!

A few weeks ago I was supposed to find out my second treatment for my Kidney Disease that I have. After many Dr. appointments and continually waiting... I was starting to get really frustrated. Today, I started losing hope and I was getting really frustrated that I have been put on one of my treatments and not the other one that is supposed to work with the first treatment. I was getting down and discouraged for not having answers. Then I was continually reminded of a sermon that I listened to a month or two ago from one of my Pastor's. He was talking about how God only gives us the details that we need right now. If we knew everything that God had planned, then we would not want to go on this long journey... This song called, Broken is extremely encouraging and has been a huge encouragement to me. The lyrics are extremely powerful. Honestly this song is exactly how I feel currently. Literally I feel like I am barely holding on... But I keep reminding myself that God has a purpose for me even if I don't see it right now...  I just need to keep remembering that God has some sort of plan, even if I don't feel that way.
